Khaliya Top Munsyari is a beautiful mountain peak situated in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters and nearby is the huge Himalayan range. From the top of Khaliya you can have a beautiful view of huge mountain peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Panchachuli, and Rajrambha.
How to reach Khaliya top:
- Reach Munsyari: First, reach Munsyari town, which is the base camp for the trek. You can reach Munsyari by road.
- Trek to Balati Farm: From Munsyari, trek to Balati Farm, which is 3km away. The trek takes around 1-2 hours.
- Trek to Martoli: From Balati Farm, trek to Martoli, which is 4km away. The trek takes around 2-3 hours.
- Trek to Munsyari: From Martoli, trek to Khaliya top, which is 3km away. The trek takes around 2-3 hours.
Alternative Route: You can also trek to Khaliya Top from the other side, starting from the village of Nanda Devi. This route is longer and more challenging.

- Camping – Camping is allowed at Khaliya Top, and it’s a great way to experience the serene beauty of the place. You can set up your own tent or hire one from Munsyari.
- Forest Rent House – There is a forest rest house at Khaliya Top, which offers basic accommodation. However, it’s recommended to book in advance through the forest department.
- Homestay – You can also at homestays in Munsyari and trek to Khaliya top during the day.

- Entry Fee: The entry fee for the Khaliya top treck is 20 rupees per person.
- Additional Costs: You can also rent hiking poles for 50 rupees, which is highly recommended.

- If you want to go trekking in snow then you can go till the end of February.
